Ingredients
* 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20 lean to fat)
* 8 oz Mushrooms (cremini or portobello)
* 4 slices Swiss Cheese
* 4 Brioche Buns
* ½ cup Unsalted Butter
* 2-3 Garlic Cloves (minced)
* 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
* 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
* Salt and Pepper to taste
* Your choice of Toppings
Instructions
1. Prepare garlic butter; melt butter and stir in minced garlic.
2. Cook mushrooms in a skillet with oil, then season and caramelize.
3. Cook smash burgers in a hot skillet, smashing balls of ground beef.
4. Assemble the burger with sautéed mushrooms and garlic butter.
5. Toast the buns and layer with your favorite toppings.
