Ingredients
* 4 boneless chicken breasts
* 8 slices of Swiss cheese
* 8 slices of ham or turkey
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 2 large eggs
* 2 cups breadcrumbs
* Salt and pepper to taste
* 4 tablespoons butter
* 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour (for sauce)
* 2 cups milk
* 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
* Salt and pepper to taste (for sauce)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Pound the chicken to 1/4 inch thickness and season with salt and pepper.
3. Layer ham and Swiss cheese on each breast, roll, and secure.
4. Prepare a dredging station: flour, egg wash, and breadcrumbs.
5. Dredge the chicken in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
6. Fry in a skillet until golden (3-4 mins per side).
7. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
8. For sauce, melt butter, whisk in flour, add milk, then cheese.
