Ingredients
* 1 package of croissants
* 2 cups fresh blueberries (or frozen)
* 5 large eggs
* 1 cup milk
* 1/2 cup heavy cream
* 1/4 cup maple syrup
* 1/4 cup granulated sugar
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
* 1 tsp cinnamon
* A pinch of salt
* Powdered sugar for serving
* Lemon zest for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Tear the croissants into bite-sized pieces.
3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, syrup, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
4. Layer the croissant pieces in a baking dish and scatter blueberries over them.
5. Pour the custard mixture evenly over the croissant and blueberries.
6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
7. Bake uncovered for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
8. Serve warm, garnished with powdered sugar and lemon zest.
