Ingredients
1.5 to 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup full-fat mayonnaise (or sour cream/Greek yogurt)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
2. Pat chicken breasts dry and arrange them in a single layer in the dish. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
3. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder. Mix until a thick, creamy paste forms.
4. Spread the mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast, covering the entire surface.
5. Bake for 25-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and bubbly, and an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chicken reads 165°F (74°C).
6. Let the chicken rest in the dish for 5-10 minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
