  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup buttermilk (or plain yogurt mixed with water for halal option)
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Pat wings dry and season with spices.
  2. Dip wings in buttermilk, then dredge in flour and cornstarch mixture.
  3. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry wings in batches 8–10 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
