- 2 ribeye or filet mignon steaks
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme or rosemary
- 8 large shrimp or 2 lobster tails
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or salad (optional sides)
Instructions
- Season steaks with salt and pepper. Sear 2–3 minutes per side in hot oil. Add butter, garlic, and herbs; baste for 1–2 minutes. Remove and rest.
- For seafood, clean and season shrimp (or split lobster tails). Melt butter in a skillet, sauté garlic, then cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side or lobster 4–5 minutes. Finish with lemon juice.
- Plate steak and seafood together. Garnish with herbs and lemon wedges. Serve with sides.
