Ingredients
* 1 cup wild rice
* 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
* 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
* 1 onion, chopped
* 3 cloves garlic, minced
* 4 cups chicken broth
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 2 tablespoons olive oil
* Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot on medium heat.
2. Add onions and garlic; sauté until soft.
3. Add chicken; cook until golden brown.
4. Stir in mushrooms and wild rice; continue cooking for a few minutes.
5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer.
6. After about 30 minutes, stir in cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
