Ingredients
Scale
- 1 tbsp raw apple cider vinegar
- Juice of half a lemon
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon (Ceylon)
- ¼ tsp grated fresh ginger (or ⅛ tsp powder)
- 1 glass warm water (8–12 oz)
- Optional: 1 tsp chia seeds (soaked for 5 mins)
- Optional: Pinch of cayenne or turmeric
Instructions
- Stir all ingredients together in a glass or jar.
- Drink first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
- Follow with a glass of plain water after 15 minutes.
Notes
- Use raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar with “the mother” for best results.
- Chia seeds add fiber and help keep you full longer.
- Drink before meals to reduce post-meal glucose spikes.
- Evening version: Replace water with chamomile tea, use 1 tsp ACV, add a pinch of cinnamon and turmeric. Sip 30 minutes before bed.
- Best consumed fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
