Ingredients
- 1–3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons butter or oil
- Salt and pepper, optional
Instructions
-
Prepare the Pan: Heat butter or oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until fully melted or hot.
-
Crack the Egg: Carefully break one egg into a small bowl to avoid shells, then slide it gently into the pan. Repeat for more eggs.
-
Sunny-Side-Up: Cook without flipping until whites are set and yolk is soft and runny. Remove and serve hot.
-
Over-Easy: When whites are set, flip gently with a spatula. Cook for 10–30 seconds for a delicate yolk.
-
Over-Medium: Flip and cook for 30–60 seconds until yolk is slightly firmer but still creamy.
-
Over-Hard: Flip and cook 1–2 minutes until yolk is fully firm with no runniness left.
-
Serve Immediately: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy with toast, rice, or as part of any meal.
