Deep Hamburger Beef Sausage & Pepperoni Pie

A deep-dish pie loaded with beef, sausage, pepperoni, and gooey cheese — pizza comfort in pie form.

  • 1/2 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices, chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 refrigerated pie crust (or homemade, for a 9-inch deep-dish pan)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Heat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a deep-dish pie pan and line with crust.
  2. Cook Meat: In a skillet, heat olive oil. Sauté onions and garlic until softened. Add ground beef and sausage, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add Flavor: Stir in pepperoni, pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
  4. Assemble Pie: Spread half of the cheeses over crust. Add meat mixture evenly. Top with remaining cheese.
  5. Bake: Bake 30–35 minutes, until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
  6. Serve: Cool 5–10 minutes before slicing. Optional: drizzle with pizza sauce or sprinkle with parsley.
