- 2 slices white or whole wheat bread, toasted
- 4 slices crispy turkey bacon
- 2 slices ripe tomato
- 2–3 fresh lettuce leaves (iceberg or romaine)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Toast the Bread – Toast both slices until golden and crisp.
- Cook the Bacon – In a skillet, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Assemble the Sandwich – Spread mayonnaise on one side of each toasted bread slice. Layer lettuce, then tomato slices. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the Bacon – Place crispy bacon on top of the tomatoes.
- Finish and Serve – Top with the second slice of bread, mayo-side down. Press gently, slice in half, and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add avocado slices or a fried egg.
- Store bacon separately in the fridge for up to 2 days; toast bread fresh before assembling.
