For the Chicken:

  • lbs chicken thighs or drumsticks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

For the Angry Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season chicken with oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Place chicken on a tray and bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • While baking, make sauce: melt butter, stir in hot sauce, honey, vinegar, chili powder, cayenne, and flakes.
  • When chicken is done, toss with the sauce.
  • Broil for 3–5 minutes for extra crisp.
  • Serve hot and enjoy the heat!
